Charlotte S. Joelsson, L.C.S.W.

“I believe in people’s ability to change. I also believe it takes courage to look within and create change. As a psychotherapist, I aim to provide my clients a safe, nonjudgmental and confidential environment conducive to self exploration, insight and growth. I place great importance on the relationship between client and therapist as a good therapeutic alliance is a crucial component in facilitating change. I view the psychotherapeutic process as a journey where it becomes an honor and a privilege to in a supportive manner accompany my clients in their search for answers. Together we explore thoughts, feelings and behaviors to uncover underlying issues that contribute to patterns that keep clients stuck or cause unease. Each client is unique. Hence, on each unique journey I help empower clients embrace their answers and guide them through the process of change toward enhanced well-being.”
