Trisha Souders Rubin, L.C.S.W. Trisha Souders Rubin, L.C.S.W. has been in the Metropolitan Washington D.C. area for over ten years. Although she has worked largely in the eating disorder and obesity fields she has built a general practice treating issues of anxiety, depression, and relationship issues as well as eating issues. Her career as a psychotherapist started at Georgetown University Medical Center's Eating Disorder and Obesity Program in 1989. There she held a post graduate fellowship and was later hired as a faculty member. In 1996 Trisha left Georgetown University to begin The Washington Center for Eating Disorders and Obesity in Fairfax (which has turned into the Growth and Recovery Center in year 2000)..
